Allison Ferguson has lived her entire life by the sea. She can’t even imagine not being near the ocean. Allison grew up in the coastal city of Wilmington, NC; then she and her husband moved to Key Largo and were fortunate enough to live on the water. Her sister got Allison hooked on pottery and she’s enjoyed it ever since.

Ferguson is famous for her turtles. She loves making “turtle crawl” functional pieces. She sells egg trays to anyone who loves to entertain. Being from the south, Allison enjoys being the “hostess with the mostess” and making deviled eggs.

Allison’s love for sea creatures like the manatee, sea turtle, and the mystical mermaid are evident in her creations. She also makes plaques just to watch people read them and smile. The pottery pieces reflect what she loves and what makes her happy. She hopes they have the same effect to those who take home a piece of her art.
