Sandra “Sandi” Humphrey’s interests and knowledge span a wide range of media, including and not limited to painting, gourd art, ceramics, and functional art furniture. Known for her “Chocolate Mousse” sculptures, you can see her attention to detail come alive within the studio at Our Place in Paradise in Islamorada, Florida.

Prior to her dive into art, Humphrey attained a BS in mathematics with continuing studies in computer science and biology. She also attained an MS in Marine Biology. Her thirty-year career was focused on high-tech and computers. Earlier in her career, Sandra’s math background gave her the analytical skills to focus on programming and technical marketing. Later, creative tendencies led her into marketing communications, advertising, and public relations.
